Soulmates
One soul occupying two bodies.
An idea we all like to believe in is it not ? The thought that someone in this world is your identical match. I was brought up to believe this, but unfortunately before I was even 18 I had given up, telling myself that this only happens in fairy tales.
Just find someone compatible, I told myself, as it seemed my expectations were too high. I wanted someone who could give as much as I give and still have the will to live. ' Indigo Girls ' Twelve years and 2 divorces later I began to wonder if I should of continued to wait for my true mate.
A Knight in Shining Armor
My wife , 1000 miles away, about the same time I had 'given up' was wondering where her knight was to come and take her away. She knew he was waiting on his steed to ride down and sweep her away from a world where no one seemed to recognise or appreciate her true talents and qualities. He would take her far away where she could claim her kingdom besides him as his Queen. She waited, and waited, and when finally she could wait no more she turned around and married the first man that made himself bothersome ...telling herself she could make him into her knight. Eighteen years and 2 children later she asked herself where she had gone wrong.
If you can relate to either story than read on.
As fate would have it, It started with a phone call that would lead to my wife travelling 1000 miles to meet me. We were married as soon as the law allowed and today have a beautiful 2 year old daughter. We enjoy the same music (mostly), drink the same soft drinks, smoke the same cigarettes, and the list goes on and on. At least twice a week we still exclaim 'that's exactly what I was thinking', and we have been married 4 years now.
Believe your soul mate is waiting for you, and when you can't wait anymore, you will find each other.
The magic we share together, my soulmate and I, is beyond anything we ever expected. Not only is our daughter an angel , to show us that our love was well placed but mostly if we need anything we simply say it out loud and wish it to come to us. Here you can read my wifes version of our meeting.
Also let me say in closing this section that it is this magic , this connection between lost souls that motivates us to continue serving you with this website as long as the word lonely isn't obsolete.
